FireSky Pictures, founded by Jennifer Gonsky and Karen Tatevosian, brings together two accomplished entertainment executives whose careers span industry-leading companies including Searchlight, FX, Netflix, Sony and DreamWorks.
Together, they have shaped the business behind some of the industry’s most acclaimed and culturally defining film and television projects, leading high-level strategy, forging groundbreaking partnerships, expanding valuable IP and franchises, and cultivating enduring creative relationships.
Their experience spans projects including Breaking Bad, When They See Us, The Dropout, The Boys, The Night Agent, Outlander, El Camino, Justified, Shark Tank, The Good Doctor, Cobra Kai, The Last of Us, The Blacklist, Platonic, The Goldbergs, The Get Down, For All Mankind, and Pluribus, to name a few. Today, they bring that unique combination of strategic expertise, industry access, and creative instinct to developing and producing original, character-driven stories with global appeal.
Jennifer Gonsky is a producer with extensive experience in television business affairs, strategy, and creative development. She previously served as Head of Business Affairs & Operations for Television at Disney/Searchlight, Director of Global Original Series at Netflix, and Senior Vice President of Business & Legal Affairs at FX.
Across these roles she has led high-level negotiations, forged major partnerships, and shaped the business behind acclaimed series. She holds a B.A. in English Literature from Kenyon College and a J.D. from Pepperdine School of Law, and is a member of the California Bar.
Karen Tatevosian is a producer and seasoned entertainment executive with over two decades of experience in television and film. She previously served as Head of Business Affairs & Operations at Sony Pictures Television and in Business & Legal Affairs at DreamWorks SKG, where she led pivotal negotiations, forged strategic partnerships, and played an instrumental role in bringing groundbreaking, critically acclaimed series to fruition.
With deep industry relationships, sharp creative instincts, and an eye for distinctive material, Karen brings a unique blend of creative vision, storytelling sensibility, and business expertise to producing. She is passionate about developing compelling stories and memorable characters that entertain, inspire, and resonate with audiences worldwide.
She holds a B.A. in Law & Society from University of California, Santa Barbara, a J.D. from Southwestern Law School, and is a member of the California Bar.
